More about Rebel Eye...
A singer, songwriter, producer and poet; Rebel Eye is a beautiful woman with a voice you must hear to believe.
At an early age, young Rebekah drew upon the influence of a loving musical family. She learned much from her father; a celebrated Opera and Jazz singer. In the early 90's, Rebekah developed her talents performing with various local singing groups. She performed gigs in Los Angeles and New York, singing background for various reggae, hip hop and neo-soul artists. Rebekah then ventured into the world as a solo artist and “Rebel Eye” was born.
In ’95, Rebel Eye maintained a busy schedule in Los Angeles studios working with LLCool J’s main producer, Battle Cat. She then went on to perform with Prince-protégée, Andre Cymone and Hip Hop star Heavy D.
Who is Rebel Eye today? She is a musical talent who is very much her “Own Woman” and not afraid to walk a novel and experimental musical path. Rebel Eye is a woman who moves to the center of her vision...a vision that is forever changing. Both entertaining and meditative, Rebel Eye’s voice is that of a healer…her sound, mesmerizing to the ear.
